Balance and Stability is the art of training some of the smaller muscles of the body to feel stable with every step taken, sitting, standing, and other activities of daily living. Classes take place with the use of a chair and progress to the optional use of small resistance tools such as light weights, cans, bottles, or a book.
As we age, the ability to feel stable diminishes. Balance and Stability Training is for those who feel unstable on their feet, walks unassisted, with a cane, or walker.
All classes are systematically created in a fun and easy-to-follow teaching style. With gradual progression, posture becomes enhanced, muscles get stronger, and the body feels more in control of every movement taken. Consider this a requirement for fall prevention.
